youtube for virtual reference

Hello all,
I have not been a YouTube user, but today I was able to answer a reference question using it. The patron was wanted to listen to a certain opera singer's voice (a male soprano) There didn't seem to be sound clips readily found, but on YouTube I found several short videos. One was part of a BBC documentary news piece and the other seemed like a "bootleg" video from a performance. Are there any standards for citing these clips (should I have discussed the source of the videos with the customer, or just sent the YouTube URLs)?

New look for AskUsNow.info

At 2.18pm today AskUsNow.info got a new look! The changeover went smoothly and we're all very excited about it!

Thank you all for your help, feedback and comments on the site. Little tweaks here and there are still in the works, but the main issues have been worked out.

For Christmas my Dad gave me the Page-a-Day ZEN Calendar- today's page says

The world is round and the place which may seem like the end may also be the beginning.

The New Year is a (re)starting point for a lot of us- we set resolutions and hope that by March, we're still doing good on them.

This year I didn't do any resolutions- over the last year I've been tweaking things ever so slightly so that my routines will support the new things I want to do. We can have a ToDo list as big or as small as we want but if we don't have the support and structure to uphold our ToDos, they don't get done- or won't be sustainable.

In whatever you want to do this year, take it one day at a time and build up your support. If anything you want to do/improve this year involves AskUsNow! luckily for you there's already a solid support system in place to help you reach your goals. Make use of your fellow providers at your own library and others- talk to liaisons- or get in contact with Joe or I. We're all here to help each other- make use of us.
